A boy enters the box office of a theatre, where the play ‘Totò e Vicé’ is being performed. The stage manager leads him backstage, where technicians are frantically transporting benches and props. The boy is assigned the task of helping one of the two lead actors during a scene change. In the meantime, the two performers of the play prepare to enter the stage, but the noises of a nearby construction site can be heard more than expected, and this task will accompany them until the start of the performance.
