The School of Ecology in the Mountains is a collector of specialized study and action-research, open not only to the inhabitants and professionals of the territory of the Bolognese Apennines, but to all those from the Region and all over Italy – for work, for passion or for the spirit of participation and active citizenship – who want to approach a complex and multi-faceted discipline. Every year we select a class of 25 students from all over Italy and put them in dialogue with professors of national and international prominence for a three-day in-depth study of a specific theme, approached in a holistic and multidisciplinary way: we talked about EARTH, ENERGY, WATER… looking forward to the next edition, where the research group presents the results of the grant awarded to the project that the class has chosen to elaborate during the year, in the open-sky laboratory that is the territory of the Municipality of Castiglione dei Pepoli.
