A documentary that tells the last days of one of the most successful national teams in the history of basketball by intertwining personal stories, sport and politics.
On June 29, the Yugoslav national basketball team spent its last moments on the throne of European basketball, with its eyes fixed on the flag raising, calmly listening to the national anthem “Hej, Slaveni”, three days after the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia had officially ceased to exist.

L’Agnello ha vinto il Premio come Miglior Film al Festival Annecy Cinéma Italien 2020, oltre al Premio della Giuria Giovani e al Premio del Pubblico, e il Premio Suso Cecchi D’Amico, destinato ogni anno alla Miglior Sceneggiatura Italiana con protagonista al femminile; è stato premiato ad Alice nella città – selezione ufficiale 2019 (Menzione d’onore a Nora Stassi come Miglior Talento Emergente), ed selezionato ai festival Moskow IFF, Prague IFF, Istambul IFF, Cinemed Montpellier, CPH Buster, Cinemagic UK, Denver IFF, Lucas International Children’s Film Festival (…e non è finita qui!).
